Kaitlyn & Hobie’s Intimate Autumn Microwedding at The Club at Wynstone

On October 24, 2020, we had the incredible honor of capturing the wedding of Kaitlyn and Hobie. This was a beautifully intimate microwedding with a guest count of 24, proving that smaller celebrations can be just as grand in emotion and style.

The Morning Moments

The day began at 42 S. Wynstone Drive, where the bridal party prepared for the festivities. From a cinematography perspective, the morning was filled with “must-have” moments. We captured the quiet, emotional exchange of handwritten letters between Kaitlyn and Hobie. These private readings provided a perfect narrative thread for their wedding film. We also documented the joyful bridesmaids’ first look and a touching first look between Kaitlyn and her father, Dennis, before the group departed for the church.

The Ceremony & Grand Exit

The couple exchanged vows at St. Anne’s Church in a 2:00 PM ceremony. After being pronounced husband and wife, Kaitlyn and Hobie made a classic and sophisticated exit in a Rolls Royce provided by VIP Valet Service. There is nothing quite like a vintage car to add a touch of timeless cinematic flair to a wedding day.

Reception at The Club at Wynstone

The celebration continued at The Club at Wynstone, where the rolling greens provided a stunning backdrop for sunset portraits. The reception, expertly coordinated by Christina Currie Events, featured elegant decor and florals by Anthony Gowder Designs.

The evening was punctuated by heartfelt toasts from Dennis, Meghan, and Kristen, followed by the couple’s first dances at 7:30 PM. One of the most unique details of the night was the live illustration by Rosemary Fanti at the 18th hole, which offered a wonderful behind-the-scenes element for us to film.
