Madelyn & Andrew: A Classic Fall Celebration at Glen View Club

On a beautiful October 10th, 2020, Madelyn and Andrew celebrated their union with an intimate group of 43 guests at the historic Glen View Club in Golf, Illinois. Their film captures the elegance of a crisp autumn weekend, from a morning of golf on the greens to a glowing sparkler send-off.

The Setting

The day began at the club, where Madelyn and her bridal party prepared in the Women’s Locker Room while Andrew and his groomsmen enjoyed a morning of golf before dressing in the Men’s Lounge. The club’s timeless architecture and sprawling greens provided a sophisticated backdrop for the couple’s first look, reached by golf cart near the course.

Vows at the 10th Tee Box

The couple shared their vows outdoors at the 10th Tee Box, with a soundtrack to match the setting: a processional to Train’s “Marry Me,” Madelyn’s entrance to “Here Comes the Sun,” and after heartfelt readings and the exchange of rings, a recessional to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be.”

The Reception

The celebration moved to the Main Dining Room, where the Chicago Diamond Trio set the mood for the evening.

• The first dance: a romantic moment to Leon Bridges’ “Coming Home.”
• Heartfelt toasts: from the father of the bride, the maid of honor, and the best man.
• Special dances: a father-daughter dance to Van Morrison’s “Days Like This” and a mother-son dance to George Harrison’s “If Not For You.”
• The cake: a beautiful creation by Bent Fork.

The Finale

As the night drew to a close, guests gathered for a sparkler exit to send the couple off in style, and the evening carried on with an after-party on the outdoor terrace, complete with fire pits, s’mores, and late-night pizza. Proof that an intimate guest list loses none of the cinema.
