Meghan & Matt’s Elegant June Wedding at The Club at Wynstone
There is something truly magical about a June wedding in Barrington, and Meghan and Matt Kauth’s celebration on June 5, 2021, was the epitome of timeless elegance. From the quiet, emotional moments of the morning to the high-energy celebration at The Club at Wynstone, every second was a filmmaker’s dream.
The Morning: Anticipation and Letters
The day began with a sense of calm and excitement as the couple prepared at their respective locations. One of the most touching sequences to capture on film was the exchange of letters. We filmed Meghan reading a heartfelt note from Matt before stepping into her gown with the help of her mother, Kathleen. Meanwhile, Matt shared a similar moment, reading Meghan’s words just before putting on the finishing touches of his attire.
A standout cinematic moment occurred in the foyer, where Meghan shared a private first look with her father, Dennis, a beautiful prelude to the ceremony.
The Ceremony: St. Anne’s Church
The couple traveled to St. Anne’s Church in Barrington for a traditional 3:00 PM ceremony. The architecture of the church provided a stunning backdrop for the exchange of vows. One of the most unique and spiritual moments we documented was the presentation of pink roses to Mother Mary, a quiet beat of reflection amidst the grandeur of the day.
The Grand Arrival & Celebration
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds made a classic getaway in a vintage Rolls Royce, heading back to The Club at Wynstone to kick off the festivities.
The reception was a masterclass in style, coordinated by Christina Currie Events. The energy in the room shifted to pure joy during the grand entrance, as the couple was announced to the sounds of Dave Matthews Band’s “Snow Outside.” Their first dance flowed seamlessly into three high-energy sets with their guests, perfectly capturing the spirit of the evening.
A Night of Meaningful Tributes
The evening was filled with cinematic speeches from parents and the bridal party, including toasts by Kaitlyn, Kristen, Dustin, and Eric. A highlight for the wedding film was the performance of “Kaitlyn & Hobie’s Song,” a personal touch that truly personalized the night. As the party continued, guests enjoyed a dessert station featuring sliders and Oreo milkshakes, a fun, modern end to a classic day.
