The Cinematic Story
Our 11-hour coverage began at noon, capturing the anticipation in the suites at The Langham. The morning was a whirlwind of glam, with Kaitlyn and her ten bridesmaids styled by Elegance by Kim and Bridal by Aga, while the groomsmen enjoyed a relaxed lunch in the Dover Suite before the day’s formalities began.
One of the most touching sequences we captured was the dual first looks: first a private moment between Kaitlyn and her father, followed by a romantic reveal between the bride and groom. We then followed the couple into the city streets for iconic Chicago backdrops before their evening ceremony.
The Reception Highlights
The transition from ceremony to reception featured a seamless room flip of the ballroom, accented by stunning arrangements from Simply Flowers and lighting by A Posh Production.
- The grand entrance: the new Mr. and Mrs. Weinstein entered to Harry Styles’ “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” heading straight into their cake cutting.
- The speeches: heartfelt and humorous toasts from the father of the bride, the best woman, and the matron of honor.
- The dances: a first dance to “Simply the Best,” followed by sentimental parent dances to “My Little Girl” and “In Case You Don’t Live Forever.”
- The party: the dance floor ignited with Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” followed by a champagne dusk shot and a Chicago staple: Lou Malnati’s pizza.
The evening concluded with a final dance to the Jonas Brothers’ “Remember This,” the perfect end to a spectacular weekend.
