Julie and Joe married on October 9, 2021, with the whole celebration at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe. Planned by NSWE Events, with florals and design by Life in Bloom, the afternoon began with a first look between Julie and her dad by the lake, then a golf cart ride out to the golf course for Julie and Joe’s own first look and portraits.

A Ceremony in the Living Room

The ceremony took place in the club’s Living Room, with piano and violin. The processional began to Elton John’s “Your Song,” Julie walked in with her dad to “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and the couple left to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be.”

Cocktails on the Terrace and a Night of Dancing

Guests moved out to the terrace for cocktails while Julie and Joe took a private moment, then returned for group photos at the altar. In the dining room, the bridal party was introduced to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” Julie and Joe shared their first dance to Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E,” and the band kept the dancing going late into the night.
