Life in Bloom + 312FILMS: Floral Design Across Nine Chicago Weddings
About Life in Bloom
Life in Bloom is a Chicago floral and event design studio founded in 2012 by Rachel Wyffels, who freelanced at HMR Designs before starting the business out of her own apartment. It’s grown into a full-service design studio handling floral, linens, lighting, custom furniture, drapery, and suspended installations, and the studio is a WBENC-certified woman-owned business. Life in Bloom holds a 4.9-star rating on both WeddingWire (78 reviews) and The Knot (98 reviews), where it’s earned Best of Weddings recognition multiple years running and a Hall of Fame award. Of all the florists we’ve worked alongside, Life in Bloom shows up in our credits more than any other, and the range of venues below reflects just how adaptable their design work is.

What Life in Bloom Brings to a Wedding Film
A florist who thinks in full room design, not just centerpieces, gives a wedding film an enormous amount to work with. Life in Bloom’s installations, from suspended florals to custom drapery and lighting, change the way a room reads on camera, and their designs hold up across wildly different venues: a planetarium overlooking the skyline, a historic museum ballroom, a loft space, a private club. That range is part of why their name keeps appearing in our credits.
