Sydney & Brian: A Winter Love Story at Bridgeport Art Center

Capturing Sydney and Brian’s winter wedding on December 14, 2019 was a masterclass in elegance and heartfelt emotion. From the high-energy skyline views of The Blackstone Hotel to the intimate, tear-filled moments in a family home in Hinsdale, their day was a beautiful blend of city sophistication and suburban charm.

Morning Preparations

The day began with our team capturing the groom and his party at The Blackstone, while the bride prepared at her family home. One of the most cinematic moments of the morning was Sydney’s first look with her father, followed by a reveal to her bridesmaids.

A Sacred Ceremony at Grace Episcopal Church

The heart of the film centers on Grace Episcopal Church in Hinsdale, IL, where the couple shared a private first look and read their personal vows to one another before the ceremony began. We also made sure to capture a special appearance by their dog, Bella, who looked camera-ready in a custom wreath of greenery and white garden roses.

A Winter Wonderland at Bridgeport Art Center

As the sun set, the celebration moved to the Bridgeport Art Center. The Skyline Loft was transformed into a winter wonderland with ivory fabric swags, amber up-lighting, and a custom winter pattern projected across the ceiling. The newlyweds shared their first dance to “This Is It” by Scotty McCreery, surrounded by family and friends. The night was punctuated by emotional toasts, a spectacular cake cutting under a lush floral hoop, and a late-night Chicago-style snack surprise.
