Amy Beck Cake Design, a beloved fixture of Chicago’s wedding scene for nearly two decades, has since closed, but its cakes appear in three of the weddings we’ve had the honor of filming, and we wanted to give that work its due.

About Amy Beck Cake Design

Amy Beck founded her cake design studio in 2006, starting in less than 700 square feet in a Lincoln Park garden-level space after leaving a career in management consulting. Demand grew quickly enough that in 2011 the business expanded to a dedicated studio at 636 N. Racine Ave. in River West, where it operated for over a decade. On The Knot, Amy Beck Cake Design held a 5 out of 5 rating across 139 reviews, with 10-time Best of Weddings recognition and a Hall of Fame award, before the business closed (confirmed via its Yelp listing).
