On June 9, 2018, Gabriela Schultz and Mario Minotti celebrated their love with a breathtaking wedding that captured the heart of Chicago. From the sleek modern luxury of The Langham to the historic elegance of St. James Chapel, every moment was a testament to their classic style and the vibrant energy of the city.

The Day Begins at The Langham

The morning started at The Langham Chicago, where Gabriela and her bridal party prepared for the day with the team from Pin Me Up. The suite was filled with anticipation as Stemline Creative delivered stunning personals, including Gabriela’s bridal bouquet and a sister bouquet for her Matron of Honor, Daniela.

One of the most cinematic moments of the morning was the departure: Mario and his father made a grand exit from the hotel in a Ferrari, while Gabriela and her father followed shortly after in a private limousine, bound for the ceremony.

A Sacred Ceremony

The couple exchanged vows at the St. James Chapel. The atmosphere was set by the processional “La Grace” by Teleman as Gabriela walked down the aisle with her father, Scott Schultz. Following a beautiful service officiated by Fr. Brian Welter, the new Mr. and Mrs. Minotti made their joyous exit to the “Royal Fireworks Music” by Handel, greeted by guests waving ribbon wands.

Portraits and the Chicago River Walk

Following the ceremony, our team joined the couple for a photo and video session at the South Gardens. We then returned to the Chicago River Walk outside The Langham for sunset family portraits, capturing the iconic city skyline as the backdrop for their first moments as a married couple.

The Reception: The Devonshire Ballroom

The celebration continued in the Devonshire Ballroom at The Langham, which was transformed with elevated floral arrangements and flickering candlelight. The evening was filled with highlights:

• The Grand Entrance: The couple was introduced to a cheering room of 191 guests as Mr. and Mrs. Mario Minotti.
• The First Dance: Gabi and Mario shared their first dance to “Best Thing” by Anthem Lights.
• Heartfelt Toasts: Emotional tributes were shared by the Father of the Bride (Scott Schultz), the Father of the Groom (Pier Minotti), and the Matron of Honor (Daniela).
• A Sweet Ending: After a custom cake cutting to Michael Bublé’s “How Sweet It Is,” guests enjoyed a late-night snack before dancing the night away to David Rothstein Music.
