Naomi & Erik: A Timeless Chicago Love Story at LondonHouse
Naomi & Erik: A Timeless Chicago Love Story at LondonHouse
Naomi and Erik’s wedding day was a masterclass in classic Chicago elegance. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of LondonHouse Chicago at 85 East Upper Wacker Drive, their celebration blended high-rise luxury with the iconic architectural beauty of the Windy City.
Morning Prep & Presidential Luxury
The day began in the Presidential Suite, where every detail was curated to perfection. Our cameras captured the intricate textures of Naomi’s dress, shoes, and jewelry, alongside a beautifully arranged style board featuring their invitations and rings. While Meg captured candid moments of Naomi and her bridesmaids in their pajamas, Jordan documented Erik and his groomsmen as they prepared in the Ronan conference room on the 3rd floor. A highlight of the morning was the intimate exchange of gifts and cards, providing raw, emotional footage that truly anchors a wedding film.
The Reveal at the Cupola
At 1:00 PM, Naomi and Erik shared a stunning first look on the LondonHouse Cupola. This iconic vantage point offered a private moment for the couple before the whirlwind of the day began. Following their first look, they were joined by their families for portraits overlooking the Chicago River.
A Tour of the City
We took the celebration to the streets to capture the essence of Chicago. The itinerary included:
- Olive Park: A serene session featuring the couple and their wedding party against the lakefront.
- The Wrigley Building: Capturing timeless moments under the white terracotta arches of one of the city’s most famous landmarks.
Ceremony & Celebration
The couple returned to LondonHouse for a 5:00 PM ceremony, transitioning from the bright afternoon sun to the warm glow of the evening. After being introduced at 6:40 PM, the night moved into a series of heartfelt moments, including:
- The Toasts: A personal “thank you” speech from the newlyweds to their guests.
- The Cake Cutting: Held at 7:55 PM just before the dance floor opened.
- First Dances: Capturing the couple’s first dance and special family dances that set the tone for the night.
The Party
By 8:00 PM, the formal program concluded, and the dance floor officially opened. We focused on high-energy, cinematic shots of the guests celebrating, ensuring the film ended with the same vibrant energy that Naomi and Erik brought to their entire wedding day.
