St. James 1868 Wedding Video | Anna & Rickus

On July 30th, we had the privilege of capturing the stunning wedding of Anna and Rickus at the historic St. James 1868. With a guest list of over 200 loved ones, the day was a perfect blend of timeless tradition and high-energy celebration.

The Morning Preparation

The day began in the venue’s elegant suites. Anna and her bridesmaids prepared in the Dutchess Suite, while Rickus and his groomsmen gathered in the Duke Suite. One of the most cinematic choices of the day was the couple’s decision to forego a first look, saving that emotional moment for the walk down the aisle.

The Ceremony

The ceremony began at 4:30 PM, filled with personal touches including music performed by two singers and two guitarists who were actually members of the wedding party. The atmosphere was intimate and sacred, led by Officiant Jesse Mathews.

Transformation & Celebration

While guests enjoyed cocktails and live music in the Hyde and the outdoor courtyard, the team at St. James 1868 performed an incredible room flip in the Abbey. At 6:40 PM, Anna and Rickus shared a private room reveal, seeing their vision brought to life by Feisty Flowers before the doors opened to their guests.

Golden Hour & Reception

Following a grand introduction and their first dance, we snuck the newlyweds away at 8:05 PM for sunset photos, capturing that perfect golden light. The evening continued with heartfelt toasts from the Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Father of the Bride, followed by a blessing from friends Becca and Sterling.

The night concluded with a packed dance floor powered by the TVK Orchestra, a beautiful end to an unforgettable summer wedding.
