Cinematic Chicago Summer: Rebecca + Pat at LondonHouse
Cinematic Chicago Summer: Rebecca + Pat at LondonHouse
There is nothing quite like a summer wedding in Chicago, and Rebecca and Pat’s June 23, 2018, celebration was the epitome of urban elegance. From the soaring views at LondonHouse Chicago to the historic beauty of St. Michael’s Old Town, every moment of their 147-guest celebration was a filmmaker’s dream.
Morning Preparations & Voiceovers
The day began in the stunning Presidential Suite at LondonHouse. A unique and intimate element we captured was a special video voiceover session, where the couple recorded the words from their letters to one another, providing a poignant narrative layer to their wedding film.

The First Look & Father’s Blessing
In the quiet moments before the ceremony, Rebecca shared an emotional first look with her father before exchanging gifts with her parents. These raw, personal moments are what make a wedding film truly timeless.
A Grand Ceremony at St. Michael’s
The couple traveled in style to St. Michael’s Old Town. The ceremony featured a beautiful processional to “Canon in D” and “Bridal March,” culminating in a joyful exit as the new Mr. and Mrs. Hart to the “Wedding March.”
Iconic Chicago Backdrops
Following the ceremony, we captured the couple and their wedding party against the architectural backdrop of the Wrigley Building. The highlight of the golden hour was filming Rebecca and Pat on the LondonHouse Cupola, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Chicago skyline.
The Celebration in the Juliette Ballroom
The reception in the LondonHouse Juliette Ballroom was a high-energy affair. The couple made a grand entrance to “Feels So Close” by Calvin Harris and shared their first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me.” The night was filled with personal touches, including a signature “Roaring 20’s” cocktail and a spirited Miami University alumni photo featuring a school flag.
