Fort Wayne Private Residence Wedding Video | Kelly & Zach

There is nothing quite like the light of early September to create the perfect backdrop for a wedding film. On September 4, 2021, we had the honor of documenting Kelly and Zach’s beautiful wedding day at a private residence in Fort Wayne, Indiana, capturing every heartfelt moment from the morning preparations to the final dance.

Morning Preparations & Details

The day began at 1:00 PM as we captured the fine details that made this day unique, the dress, shoes, rings, and invitation suite. While the girls shared a joyful toast in their robes at 1:45 PM, Zach and his groomsmen were getting ready over at Sycamore Country Club, preparing for the festivities ahead. By 2:30 PM, the anticipation was building as Kelly stepped into her gown with the help of her mother and bridesmaids.

Emotional First Looks

One of the most touching sequences we filmed was the double first look. At 2:45 PM, Kelly shared a private reveal with her father, followed shortly after at 3:00 PM by her first look with Zach. These quiet, intimate moments are often the highlights of a wedding film, capturing raw emotion before the whirlwind of the ceremony begins.

Portraits and the Ceremony

The afternoon continued with bridal party portraits at 3:30 PM, showcasing the couple’s closest friends and family. Following a brief hide-away period, the couple exchanged vows at the private residence in a 5:30 PM ceremony, followed by immediate family portraits.

The Reception and Golden Hour

The celebration moved into high gear at 6:00 PM with cocktail hour, while we worked alongside Jenny Haas Photography to capture the stunning reception details before the grand entrance. The evening back at the private residence was filled with dinner and heartfelt toasts, the cake cutting, and high-energy dancing.

Perhaps the most cinematic moment of the entire day occurred at 8:00 PM, when we snuck Kelly and Zach away for sunset photos. The golden hour provided a breathtaking glow for their couple’s session, creating some of the most romantic footage of the day. The celebration continued late into the night, concluding a perfect day of love and laughter.
