Meagan & Nick: A Classic Chicago Love Story at Saint Clement & The Peninsula

On Saturday, May 28, 2022, Meagan and Nick celebrated a timeless Chicago wedding that moved from the heights of the Signature Room for the rehearsal dinner to the iconic luxury of The Peninsula Hotel and the architectural beauty of Saint Clement, with 195 guests along for every moment.

The Morning Preparations

The day began at The Peninsula, where our cameras captured the excitement of the bridal party as Tamara Makeup & Hair prepared the group of eleven ladies for the festivities, from the finishing touches to the arrival of the groomsmen.

The Ceremony at Saint Clement

A beautiful Mass was held at Saint Clement, and one of the most cinematic moments of the day came on the church’s front steps: guests waving ribbons to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Witek as they departed for their photo tour of the city.

Rooftop Elegance

Before the ballroom doors opened, we captured the sunset cocktail hour on the Rooftop Terrace, with live music from a hotel piano and two violins setting a sophisticated backdrop as guests mingled above the city.

A Grand Celebration

The reception featured high-energy performances by the Indigo Band, and the film is full of highlights:

The grand entrance: to the brassy sounds of “The Best Is Yet to Come.”
The first dance: an intimate moment to Elvis’s “Love Me Tender.”
Heartfelt toasts: from the father of the bride, the maid of honor, and the best man.
The mother-son dance: to the soulful “Tupelo Honey.”
The details: intricate floral designs by Kehoe Designs, a 360 photo booth by Pixter, and a late-night beignet station.
