From the quiet anticipation of the morning to the high-energy celebration at night, their film documents a day filled with elegance and joy, twelve hours of memories preserved on film.
The Morning: Anticipation at Hyatt Lisle
The day began at the Hyatt Lisle with an atmosphere of refined preparation: Bob and his groomsmen gathering for the festivities, and Ashley and her bridesmaids’ final touches before the limousine departed for the church.
The Ceremony: Sacred Vows at St. Francis Xavier
The couple exchanged vows at the historic St. Francis Xavier Church in La Grange, a beautiful service that culminated in a joyful bubble exit on the church steps, the perfect cinematic transition to the next chapter of their day.
Golden Hour at Danada House
The celebration moved to the scenic Danada House in Wheaton, the historic estate at the heart of the Danada Forest Preserve. We used the golden hour for stunning portraits of the newlyweds on the grounds, the estate’s gardens and tree-lined drives glowing in the evening light.
The Reception: Evening Elegance
- The formalities: grand announcements, the cake cutting, and heartfelt toasts followed by a formal dinner.
- The dances: the couple’s first dances flowing into a high-energy open dance floor.
- The traditions: the garter and bouquet toss as the party reached its peak, with the celebration carrying on until midnight.
