Lena and Nick married on February 22, 2020, and spent their whole winter wedding day at The Drake. Lena and her seven bridesmaids got ready in her suite while the groomsmen gathered nearby, and before the ceremony Lena and Nick exchanged letters. Lena’s first look was with her dad in the hotel suite, then with Nick, followed by portraits around The Drake and Fourth Presbyterian Church, finishing just before the 5:32 sunset.

The ceremony took place in the Gold Coast Room with its curtains closed, and Lena walked down the aisle to “Riptide” by Vance Joy. During cocktail hour the room was turned for dinner, the curtains reopened, and guests came back to gold linens, toasts, a first dance to Leon Bridges’ “Beyond” and a twelve-piece band.
