A Classic Chicago Love Story

The couple chose the Union League Club for its historic charm, stunning architecture, and luxury atmosphere. From the soaring chandeliers to the rich woodwork, every corner of the venue provided a dramatic frame for their love story.

Morning Preparations: Anticipation and Luxury

The day began early with the bridal party’s preparations in the Union League Club’s Presidential Suite. Bridget’s morning was filled with laughter and quiet, emotional moments, while Zac prepared with his groomsmen in the Steel Room on the 8th floor.

The Ceremony: Grandeur at Saint Clement

At noon, the wedding party departed for the ceremony, Bridget and her father traveling in a vintage car. The ceremony at Saint Clement was a highlight of the day: with natural light pouring into the historic church, the exchange of vows felt both intimate and grand.

Capturing the City

Following the ceremony, the celebration took to the streets of Chicago. We joined the wedding party on a limo bus for cinematic shots of the couple and their closest friends around the city, breathtaking downtown backdrops that added a sense of scale and place to their wedding story.

The Reception: A Night of Celebration

The festivities returned to the Union League Club, beginning with a cocktail hour on the 2nd floor before moving to the 6th-floor Main Dining Room, where the ballroom came alive with candlelight and high-energy music.

• Heartfelt toasts: speeches from the father of the bride, the best man, and the matron of honor brought a mix of tears and laughter to the room.
• A unique performance: a spectacular Trinity Irish Dance performance, adding a personalized and energetic touch to the night.
• Dance floor energy: after the formal father-daughter and mother-son dances, the floor opened to a late-night celebration filled with joy.
