There are some weddings that don’t just celebrate a union; they illuminate an entire city. On September 27, 2025, Mia and Stone shared a day in Chicago that can only be described by one word: Everglow. To Stone’s family, “Everglow” represents a warmth and a light that never goes out, a sentiment that perfectly captured this incredible couple.

A Love Rooted in a Chance Encounter

Their story began with a seemingly random encounter at their campus post office during freshman year. From that first moment, Stone knew his life had changed. Their journey eventually led them to the Windy City, where Mia chose to build a life with Stone in Chicago over her initial dreams of New York, setting the stage for their “real-life Cinderella and Prince Charming” celebration. Fittingly, a love story that began at a post office ended up celebrating at the grandest post office in America.

The Wedding Weekend

Our coverage began the night before at The Exchange, where a rehearsal dinner flowed into a welcome party with dueling pianos. On the wedding morning, our team split in two: the groomsmen getting ready in the historic Vault at The Old Post Office, complete with a visiting barber, while Mia and her bridesmaids prepared across town. The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so the morning’s most emotional frames belonged to Mia’s first look with her dad and her reveal to the bridesmaids.

A Ceremony of Faith and Tears of Joy

The ceremony at the Church of the Holy Family, guided by Father Richard Fragomeni, was traditional and deeply emotional. Mia walked down the aisle to Canon in D, escorted by Mark and Clint before her mother Noelle took her the final steps to the altar. As vows and rings were exchanged, the church filled with what the family called “tears that make peace with change,” and the full Catholic liturgy, from the readings to Ave Maria, gave the film a reverence that historic Holy Family carries like no other church in Chicago.

Cinematic Grandeur at The Old Post Office

After a grand exit and trolley portraits at Union Station, the celebration moved to The Old Post Office. Signature cocktails with the couple’s own names on them poured through cocktail hour before Mia and Stone shared a private ballroom reveal, and then the night took off:

• A soulful first dance: Coldplay’s “All My Love,” performed live by the band.
• Family dances: a mother-son dance to “Forever Young,” played live, and a father-daughter dance to “This Dance.”
• The Everglow spirit: heartfelt blessings and toasts from both families, from the brother of the bride’s blessing to the fathers’ welcomes, and later the best man and both maids of honor.
• A Sky Full of Stars: as the night peaked, the dance floor erupted to a live “Sky Full of Stars,” lit by hundreds of tinsel wands and streamers.

A Second Line to Forever

The night didn’t end in the ballroom. Mia re-emerged in a stunning second dress for a grand re-introduction to a live “Crazy in Love,” and when the last song ended, the band led the entire celebration in a second line parade up the escalators to the Telegram Lounge, where the after-party carried into the early morning. Capturing this wedding was more than documenting an event; it was filming the Everglow that follows Mia and Stone wherever they go. As their family toasted: the best is yet to come.
