Hailey and Austin married on September 10, 2021, and spent the whole day at Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe. Planned by Storybook Weddings, it was a late-summer day built around the lake: getting ready at the club, a first look on the bridge, and portraits with the bridal party and family before guests arrived.

A Five O’Clock Ceremony

Guests were welcomed with prosecco on the way in. The processional moved through “Fields of Gold” and the first half of “Stairway to Heaven,” and Hailey walked down the aisle with her dad to “Hallelujah.” They left as newlyweds to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love).”

Golden Hour, Toasts and a Sparkler Exit

After a group photo on the cocktail-hour deck, Hailey and Austin slipped out for a golden-hour photo while guests found their seats, and again for a quick sunset photo after the prayer. Toasts from both maids of honor and both best men led into dancing in the club’s Living Room, a first dance to “500 Miles” by The Proclaimers, and “Stand by Me” for the parent dances. Hailey changed into a short dress for the party, and the night ended with a sparkler exit.
