Ravenswood Event Center Wedding Video | Siggy & Sean

There is something truly special about a Chicago loft wedding, and Siggy Nachtergaele and Sean Ahmed’s June 25th celebration at 4043 N Ravenswood was the perfect example of industrial elegance. As wedding videographers, we love a venue that offers diverse textures and spaces, and this multi-floor celebration provided a stunning backdrop for every chapter of their story.

The Atmosphere

The couple chose a sophisticated palette of navy and white, accented by grey poly napkins and the warm tones of walnut wood folding chairs. The floral arrangements by May Floral complemented the sleek, modern lines of the venue, creating an atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate for their 150 guests.

A Multi-Floor Celebration

The day was choreographed to take full advantage of the unique architecture of the Ravenswood space:

The Ceremony: Siggy and Sean exchanged vows in the 3rd floor Atrium, a space flooded with light where guests were greeted by a charming champagne pushcart upon arrival.

The Cocktail Hour: Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the 2nd floor foyer and deck, where signature cocktails were served as the sun began to set.

The Dinner: Guests were then invited into the Loft for a seated dinner featuring pre-set salads and heartfelt speeches from the Father of the Bride, the Maid of Honor, and the Best Man.

The Party: To kick off the night’s dancing, everyone returned to the 3rd floor Atrium. The energy was electric as Cage and Aquarium kept the dance floor packed all night long.

Personal Touches and Late-Night Bites

One of our favorite parts of filming Siggy and Sean’s wedding was capturing the personal details that made the night unique. From the custom bar signage and place cards provided by the couple to the decadent dessert station featuring treats from Molly’s Cupcakes and Stan’s Donuts, every element felt curated.

And, in true Chicago fashion, the night wouldn’t have been complete without a late-night delivery of Dimo’s Pizza to keep the energy high until the very end.
