A Classic Chicago Love Story: Kristina & Lucian at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
There is nothing quite like a summer wedding in the heart of Chicago. Kristina and Lucian’s celebration was a masterclass in urban elegance, spanning some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The Day
The day began at the Chicago Athletic Association, where the couple prepared for the festivities in the Play Two and Madison Corner suites. After a beautiful, traditional ceremony at Assumption Catholic Church officiated by Father Joe, the wedding party made their way to the Art Institute gardens for portraits amidst the lush greenery.
The Reception at the CSO
The reception took place at the prestigious Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Guests enjoyed cocktails on the 9th-floor club before moving into the breathtaking Grainger Ballroom for dinner and dancing. From the high-energy bridal party introductions to the sounds of Justin Timberlake and Drake, to the couple’s romantic first dance to Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” the atmosphere was electric.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the evening was the 10:15 PM fireworks display, which lit up the Chicago sky just before late-night snacks were served. It was a day filled with sophisticated details, deep-rooted traditions, and a whole lot of love.
