The Wedding We’ve Shared

Nathan & Risha’s four-day wedding, planned by Events by C, moved from a Mehndi ceremony at Danada House in Wheaton to a Garba night and fireworks finale at Bolingbrook Golf Club, groom’s family rituals in Aurora, and a grand wedding day on the Bolingbrook lawn. Nathan’s baraat arrived to a dhol beat and smoke-effect sticks, a priest led the Ganesh Puja before the ceremony, and Risha came down to the mandap by golf cart, driven by her brother, with her uncle meeting them at the start of the aisle to walk her the rest of the way. The day closed with a Vidaai at the club’s front entrance and, that evening, a reception built around family speeches, a father-daughter dance, and a cake cutting before the dance floor opened.
