Venue Six10’s floor-to-ceiling windows give a Chicago reception a full skyline view, and it’s given us one of our favorite finales to film: fireworks over Lake Michigan to close out the night.

A Wedding We Have Filmed at Venue SIX10

Christina and Jack’s reception here followed a St. Alphonsus Church ceremony, opening with a grand entrance to “I Gotta Feeling” and a first dance to “Take Over the World.” At 9:15pm, we captured an aerial shot of the entire guest list on the dance floor before the night closed with fireworks over Lake Michigan.

Filming Weddings at Venue SIX10

The floor-to-ceiling windows give us a skyline backdrop for the entire reception, especially striking once the sun goes down, and we plan our coverage around capturing that view alongside the dance floor energy. If your reception includes a fireworks finale, we know how to position for it.
