Loews Chicago O’Hare sits in Rosemont, IL, just five minutes from the airport, with over 53,000 square feet of event space spread across four ballrooms, including two mirror-image rooms that can each hold up to 600 guests. It’s a popular choice for couples who want a big, flexible reception space without asking out-of-town guests to navigate downtown traffic.
A Real Wedding at Loews Chicago O’Hare
Liz and Mike’s July wedding is a good example of what a Loews reception looks like in motion. After a ceremony at St. Mary Church in Buffalo Grove, the celebration moved to Loews Chicago O’Hare for a night built around family: speeches from both fathers, a blessing led by the bride’s brother, and a “Champagne Parade” set to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast that had staff dancing into the ballroom. The night closed with a room-wide singalong to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Filming Weddings at Loews Chicago O’Hare
The ballrooms here give us a lot of room to work with for wide shots of a big dance floor, and the hotel’s proximity to the airport makes it an easy landing spot for couples flying in family and friends from out of town. If your reception includes a big entrance moment, like Liz and Mike’s Champagne Parade, the scale of these rooms is part of what makes it land on camera.
