Saddle and Cycle Club membership cost
The Saddle & Cycle Club is a private social club on Chicago’s lakefront in Edgewater, founded in 1895. Membership typically involves a $75,000 initiation fee and $7,980 in annual dues. To join, you need a nomination from an existing member, a completed nomination form, and three letters of recommendation.
Getting Married at Saddle & Cycle Without Being a Member
You do not need to be a member yourself to host a wedding there. Because it’s a private club, event access typically runs through a sponsoring member, so most non-member couples work with the club’s events team to secure a member sponsor for their date. If you know a member, start there. If you don’t, the club’s events team can usually help connect you.

Filming Weddings at Saddle & Cycle
We’ve filmed weddings at the club, pairing it with a ceremony at Saint Clement Church. It’s one of Chicago’s few venues with a genuine lawn-and-garden, country-club feel minutes from downtown. For the full breakdown of what a wedding there costs, the grounds, and the films we’ve made, see our Saddle & Cycle Club wedding guide.
