Odyssey Country Club sits at 19110 S Ridgeland Ave in Tinley Park, IL, with ballrooms known for picture windows overlooking a lake, Baroque-inspired ceiling accents, and crystal chandeliers over a marble dance floor. The Odyssey Ballroom opens onto a balcony with lake and gazebo views, while the Terrace Ballroom looks out over the grounds, giving couples a choice between two distinct settings for their reception.

A Real Wedding at Odyssey Country Club

Arelly and Billy’s wedding is a great example of what a reception here looks like. After a ceremony at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, the celebration moved to Odyssey Country Club for a night blending Greek and Mexican traditions: a grand entrance and first dance at 7:10 PM, toasts from the Koumbara and a Spanish-language speech from the Father of the Bride, parent dances, and a donut wall and dessert table to close out the night.

Filming Weddings at Odyssey Country Club

The lake and gazebo views around the ballroom give us great options for golden-hour portraits before the reception starts, and the chandeliers and marble floor inside make for a room that photographs and films beautifully without needing much added lighting. It’s a venue that works well for couples blending multiple cultural traditions into one reception, since the ballrooms are large enough to hold a full program of speeches, dances, and customs without feeling rushed.
