Garfield Park Conservatory Wedding Films
Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the most unusual wedding venues in Chicago: a ceremony outdoors on the Blue Stone Patio, portraits among the ferns, and dinner under the glass roof of Horticulture Hall. It suits couples who want something greener and more relaxed than a hotel ballroom.
How the Conservatory looks on film
In summer, an early evening ceremony on the patio has hours of daylight left, so vows, cocktails and portraits all happen in soft natural light. The Fern Room makes a green, layered backdrop for family portraits. The real highlight is Horticulture Hall at dinner: it starts in daylight under the glass and changes as the sun goes down, until the room glows against the dark sky. One practical note: the glass houses are warm and humid in summer, so we give our cameras time to adjust before moving inside.
