Amanda & Tommy’s Wedding at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii & Pazzo’s

Amanda & Tommy: A Classic Chicago Love Story

From the grandeur of the JW Marriott to the historic charm of the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, Amanda and Tommy’s wedding day was a masterclass in timeless Chicago elegance.

The Morning: Anticipation & Grandeur

The day began with a buzz of excitement at two locations: Amanda and her party preparing at the JW Marriott, culminating in a stunning portrait session on the hotel’s magnificent staircase, while the gentlemen gathered at a private residence on Vernon Park Place, in the heart of Little Italy, before the journey to the altar.

The Ceremony: Sacred Traditions in Little Italy

The couple exchanged vows at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, the century-old heart of Chicago’s Little Italy. One of the most heartwarming highlights of the film came just after the ceremony: Amanda’s students joined the couple for photos, a teacher’s community turning out to celebrate her, and adding a layer of personal joy few wedding films capture.

The Portrait Tour: Iconic Chicago

Following the “I dos,” the bridal party embarked on a cinematic tour of the city’s most breathtaking landmarks: the architectural majesty of LaSalle Street and its bridge, sweeping skyline views from North Avenue Beach, the timeless, dramatic interiors of Union Station’s Great Hall, and the serene South Garden of the Art Institute.

The Reception: Pazzo’s at 311

The celebration moved to Pazzo’s at 311, where the soaring glass atrium of 311 South Wacker provided a grand space for the evening’s festivities. We captured the high-energy bridal party entrance and the deeply personal toasts from the couple’s closest friends, rounding out a perfect narrative of love and friendship.
